For over a week, we have been debating about this new Jailbreak Device, dubbed “JB2 PS3″, not a lot of information was known about and many of us slammed it as a rumour, but with reverse engineering of certain eboots and the CFW a little bit more was revealed and we started realising that perhaps there was some validity in the claims, you can read the old discussion here.
Today GaryOPA from PS3Crunch, has revealed a lot more information about the device which is being called “True Blue”, here is a quote from the source:

The ‘True Blue’ dongle allows booting of the latest the ISO’s (3.6+) from special BD-R discs which can be purchased from all official resellers.
The discs can be burned by any BD-R recorder and there are no special requirements on either PC or BD burner types.
Whilst we can disclose that the discs are specially manufactured to allow booting of the latest ISO’s, further technical information on the way by which the BD-R discs can allow booting cannot be provided, for obvious reasons.

The special BD-R discs being SOLD are BLANK, they are not ‘warez’ in some cases less shady ‘modshops’ operating in countrys like Asia or Spain were local law enforcement turn a blind eye to ‘flea market’ operators they may infact FILL the disc with ‘information’ turning the blank disc into ‘warez’, but that is not fault of the ‘True Blue’ designers, and those places will NOT be offical resellers. — Information and pricing and list of ‘official resellers’ will be forcoming in new news post later this week once details are confirmed.
Second, there is alot more ‘games’ working then the 5 listed in the forums and emails from the original JB2 rumors, and the full list over all the tested games will be published once it is official and confirmed by us, don’t trust other sources of information there alot of people out there trolling and passing around mis-information still for various reasons.
Third, even tho there is effort to ‘crack’ this dongle already even tho it is not in the actual hands of any of the people posting information about it, there is alot of stuff unknown about how and why it works and for many reasons we can’t give further technical information but there is ‘KEY’ reason why you have to buy special BLANK BD-R discs, due to some background research on the Blu-Ray specs. and maybe you understand why this is only way to get your dreams filled on running the latest v3.60+ games on your PS3 correctly!

You might not believe your eyes or ears yet, but it is real and currently selling only locally in small shops in Indonesia, but it true the JB2 Dongle works only on original v3.55 firmware, but it allows you to play games like Fifa 12 which have v3.60+ keys on 'pirated Blu-Ray discs' (burned media), but not from the HDD, unless it is older game, all the way up to the latest v3.73 games!
Jailbreak 2 (JB2) Dongle playing 3.6x+ games on FW 3.55
If you have been up-to-date on the forums, then a huge story is spreading like wildfire on a post made on our forums here about a new USB dongle known as Jailbreak 2 (JB2). Basically what JB2 is promised to do is playing 3.6x+ Blu-ray COPIED/burned games on firmware 3.55.
JailBreak 2 Dongle Features
Can play backup games that require firmware 3.60 + (Direct boot just like the original games)
Only burned BD Disc format with some patches will work. For now, there's no info how to make a backup iso to work with this CFW.

Today a PS3 JailBreak 2 v3.55 USB dongle from Indonesian Team KADO has been rumored to play v3.60+ game backups according to a Forum user who goes by the name donald8 followed by PS3 CFW JailBreak 2 and JB2 Updater for PlayStation 3.
Reportedly it allows users to play v3.6+ PlayStation 3 Firmware titles including FIFA 12 on burned Blu-ray discs, however, it only allows running older PS3 games from the hard drive.
To quote: I live in indonesia, and here in my country, there is a hot rumor about new dongle called JB2 and can play 3.60+ game burned to Blank BD.. It also still can play from HDD...
It require us still on 3.55 (not cfw), use the dongle (without power eject), and it will boot the ps3, then you can insert the copied / pirated bd disc. It already being sold and my friend also the sellers already confirmed it can play FIFA 12 and PES 12 and more game coming soon

Finally, according to GaryOPA the PS3 JB2 (JailBreak 2) device is genuine and will allow games that require the v3.6+ keys to run (including FIFA 12) providing the following requirements are met:
Console must be on PS3 Firmware v3.55 (Official Sony Firmware)
PS3 JB2 USB dongle must be used
PS3 games must be burned to BD-R (Blu-ray) discs
He also states the following on the upcoming PS3 JB2 (JailBreak 2) device:
